1. Heat strokes

There are few troubles that a dog faces during summer due to heat. Due to excessive high outdoor temperature the dog can have heat stroke, heat cramps and heat exhaustion. Heat stroke leads abnormalities in nervous system which includes weakness, coma. Sometimes the effect is so severe that the dog needs to undergo medication.

2. Burrs

Burrs often gets tangled up in the hair coat of the dog. The burrs are often needed to be cleared away from the dog’s body.

Ciao Cocoa Mulch often grows in the lawn sides. This planting material can cause threat to the dog as it contains chocolate. The dog can suffer from health disorder if it is ingested unknowingly. It is a deadly thing for the dog.

The dogs often have the habit of smelling things. When the dog is taken out for a walk it goes on smelling flowers, things in the surrounding. This habit can prove to be injurious for the health as there are many toxic wild flowers which if snacked will be bad for health.

7. Paws with burnt skin

The skin of the paw is often burned in the heated surface. The scorching heat of the sun not only brings stroke or coma but at the same time it causes irritation in the paw of the dog.

8. Sun burn

The sun burn is another cause that attacks the dogs in summer. If the dog is taken to the beaches then the owner has to be cautious that the dog does not gulp salt water of the sea.

9. Difficulty in breathing

Due to excess heat the dog's skin temperature would rise. As the dogs don't sweat a lot, the only way in which the heat can be released from the body is through mouth. So, you would often see your dog gasping or drooling.

10. Diarrhea

Barbeques are easily available in summer but if the dog eats the scrap food fallen on the ground he/she can suffer from diarrhea. for that matter gorging on to the left behind litter and few food particles can hamper dog's health. It is possible for the dog to develop stomach problems.
