How can I go about agility training for dogs?

I have just got a new yellow Labrador. She is one year old and is obedient and energetic. She is also a fast runner and likes to jump onto high places and also over high things or stuff. I am looking to train her for agility. Do you know how to start this training? How can I go about agility training for dogs? Are there any books or magazine that can help me regarding agility training for dogs? I would really appreciate your useful information regarding this. Thanks.

Congratulations for your new Yellow labrador. The job doesn’t end on getting the dog. The real responsibly begins after that. It is important to train the dog. You can seek the help of dog trainers to attain perfect training for your dog. But, it is not recommended if you are looking for some cost effective method. You can also train the dog by adopting certain points in an efficient manner. As you wish to know, I will say that the agility training requires arrangement of proper set of agility dog training equipment. It is a kind of training that teaches the dog ways to navigate an obstacle course. If you are successful in your training, then you will find your dog will respond well and will obey your commands. I would like you to know that the equipments needed for dog training are quite expensive. To begin with the training, you need five pieces equipment. The initial equipment that you will need is the jump. It includes having two bars set crosswise between two uprights. This would help the dog jump over it. Important equipments include weave poles and the tunnel. Don’t forget to adjust the space between poles. A seesaw can be a great option to teach the dog about contact obstacles. I hope that I have made it clear that which equipments are required for agility training in dogs. There are certain books that specialize in the dog training tips. You can consult a book released by the Daniel Stevens, this specialize in the dog training tips. I hope I have helped you with the matter. Take care.
