Can somebody help me with some dog tricks?

I have a year and a half old Boxer at home, and lately I am keen on teaching him some dog tricks. Last weekend, I visited my friend who has an English Bulldog at home, and he got it trained on some dog tricks by some professionals! I am not going to hire a professional, as I want to know from some pet owners amongst you guys who have ever taught their dogs dog tricks. Can somebody please assist me as well? Thanks.

Hey friend,

Dogs are really cute when they are at this age and they learn very quickly all the tricks and tips you want to teach them. I too own one and he's really smart and gets all the tricks very quickly.Dog trick training is great for calming overly energetic dogs. Your dog's energy must come out in one way or another so why not channel it into something constructive and fun like trick training? Even though I would suggest that you should not overburden your dog by stressing too much on the difficult tricks. Here are some of the easy tricks for starters:

The most basic trick is the handshake. Whenever you put your hand forward the dog also puts his paw and it leads to a sweet handshake.

The next trick is kissing. The smell of the master makes the dog want to cuddle so kissing is a simple job. The sniffing turns in to a kiss when you repeatedly do the same with the dog.

Fetch is one of the favorite tricks. Just take a target stick and throw it somewhere and the dog runs and fetches it for you.

Standing on the hind legs is another interesting trick.

But be cautious about the fact that slowly and steadily all these tricks will take place with regular practice sessions and remain affectionate towards the dog always only then he will learn them

Hope these ideas help you. All the best and thank you.
