You are a role model for all those people who claim to love pets but do not serve them just because they have other commitments. It is a very good decision which you have taken to contribute to Burbank animal shelter in the rescue and supporting the life of a pet. You will be slightly sad to hear that Burbank animal shelter has no volunteers’ positions left open for the year 2011. Now, do not be crestfallen as the year is on the verge of ending and in 2012 new posts for volunteers will get open.
Now, what you have to do is, you have to be sure of one thing- check the website of the Burbank animal shelter on a regular basis. As far as I know, the volunteer must be in great shape if he/she wants to participate in the rescue missions or in any type of outdoor activity. If you want to have a some indoor job then I guess it will be pertaining to record keeping of the pets which are present within the organization and also the records of pets that are been adopted, the record of the families who have adopted the pet. Now, the candidate, if doing it on a part time basis must be willing to spend around 4-5 hours a day serving the organization. After the termination of the services, the Burbank animal shelter will be giving you a certificate which will highlight your role in the shelter and the nature of service which you had provided to the shelter. I wish the information which has been provided to you in this section falls in the tangent of logic.
