Can Cephalexin for dogs cause uncontrollable peeing?

My dog was recently prescribed with Cephalexin. This was because of his constantly biting and scratching himself after being neutered. But whenever he consumes this Cephalexin after few minutes he starts to uncontrollably pee. Even if I am yelling ‘Boxer no,’ this seems not to affect him even a bit. Whenever I have said ‘no’ in the past he always stops doing it in the house. But this time he seems like he can’t control it. So, I want to ask people if the dosage of Cepahalexin is causing this problem? What could be possibly wrong with my dog? Please advice. Thanks.

Your doggie pal is urinating excessively; it does not mean that he is having side effects of cephalexin. The dosage of cephalexin will only account your pet to have hives, or redness of skin. The pet can also have mucus in his stool or if the case has worsened by overdosing the pet with the cephalexin, then the pee or stool will have blood in it. But no where it has been mentioned that due to cephalexin excessive urination will take place.

If a doggie pees excessively, then it means either he/she is suffering from diabetes, or from some sort of urine tract infection or the kidney faluire or some sort of hormonal imbalance. I hope the information makes some sense.
