What's up with my Chinese shar pei wrinkles?

Hey there. I have a Chinese shar pei doggie. You know what, I had brought this breed for its wrinkles and now the pet is around 9 years old and I have been totally depressed seeing that the beautiful wrinkles for which they are known are fading away... What should I do? Please suggest some remedy to the above mentioned problem. Thanks

Hey. My friend has also got Chinese sher pei. The breed is so cute that you just can’t think of anything except him (my Chinese shep pei) once you see him. The breed is now 8 years old and I also noticed that his wrinkles were beginning to fade.

I still remember that at the age of 7, he began to show less wrinkles, than what he had at the beginning and I was totally depressed at first, I went to a vet and to my sadness he said that this is their intrinsic nature. I mean they are supposed to lose the wrinkles once they start getting old.

So you just have to live with this fact. There is nothing wrong with him. So you don’t worry about it. I hope I have made the entire thing clear.
