Dalmatian life span

Hi there. i am a homemaker in las vegas and my husband leaves early in the morning and I am left all alone doing the daily chores. It’s just a smart Dalmatian that I have to my rescue. It is with me everywhere and is seriously a good companion. But, for some time now, it has fallen ill. Now, the doc has told me that it isn’t alive for more than 6 months from now. He is just 4 years old. Can anybody tell me the life expectancy that these have??

<p>That's an early age for a dalmatian to fall sick with an illness that is fatal. The dalmatian is generally a large, strong and muscular dog, although they are prone to many diseases but not many of them prove to be fatal. I have a dalmatian that is 8 year old and is hardy and healthy, whereas, you've mentioned that your dalmatian is 4 year old and has been detected with an illness and will not stay alive for more than 6 months from now. As far as I know, an average Dalmatian life span is somewhere around 10-13 years, now you can yourself imagine that 4 years was definitely not the age for your dalmatian to die. Although you should follow the veterinary's advice for this but I'd suggest you to keep your dog active and playful but don't indulge it into heavy exercise routines, if your dog will remain dumb and aloof, the illness will overpower it. I can understand what you must be going through, because it is very difficult to get separated from your dear pet. I'll suggest you to spend as much time as you can with your dog, play with it and make those six months memeorable for yourself with your dog.</p>
