You should not even think of giving you puppies some biscuits or anything like that. As you have mentioned in your question that the pet puppy is 5 weeks old which means that the puppy has a weak digestion system as compared to that of a grownup, thus I would suggest you to give your pet puppy the diet which has been given to him/her by the pet breeder.
Now making some dog biscuits all by yourself, is a nice thing and shows the levels of love which you have for your pet puppy but make sure of one thing, you should firstly consult the breeder and pet’s vet on this issue as any change in the diet pattern can have detrimental effects on their distention system.
Now one homemade cookie for pet, of which I am aware of can be-
The name of the treat is – apple cinnamon drops ingredients are:
1/8 cup of whole wheat flour
¼ cup of honey
Half cup of water
1 teaspoon of oatmeal paste and 1 cup of cinnamon
And 1 apple of good size
You have to heat the oven to 350 F, slice and mince the apple. Take a large bowl and mix the minced apple its-bits, honey, cinnamon, and oatmeal. Gradually make a good blend of wheat flour and make it little stiffer.
Mix the dough by a round shaped teaspoon into a non-greased baking sheet. Keep a space of 4 cm. Make sure which size of the drops you would like to feed your doggie pal , as the size of these cinnamon drops will be based on how big a treat you like to feed your dog.
