Can dogs get an allergic reaction from dog jackets?

I have a beagle pup that is allergic to woolen dog jackets. I took him to the store to buy him a jacket and I have never seen this happen before but all the hair on his back stood up and he did not like the jacket. I tried it with several other jackets also made in woolen. What can be the reason for this? I gave him a bath about a month ago. Could dogs get static hair? He wants to bite the jacket when I try and put it onto him. What other material dog jackets could I get which would keep him warm and not give him an allergic reaction?

The beagle doggie pal of yours can be allergic to the woolen jackets so it is better you buy a suede jacket for your beagle. I have a yellow lab and I was facing the similar problem as his skin was sensitive enough and got dry when I put a woolen jacket on him.

Now the suede jacket does good to my yellow lab and hope it does really well to you. The suede jacket which my lab wears is tender to its skin as compared to the woolen jacket. I have brought my yellow lab the jacket from East Side collection which had cost him around $27 and I must say that the product is a real bang for your buck, so you should go ahead and get the jacket. You can also go in for Faux Suede dog jacket which will cost him around $55. Now, what I would like to tell you is that you should use a proper dog shampoo for the proper cleaning of the coat of your pet pal if something of such sort happens, using regular shampoos, meant for human beings, will not evoke good results for the coat of your dog. I hope the information which I have given to you in this section makes some sense.
