What can I do to make my dogs use doggy doors?

I have just bought and installed a doggy door for my two dogs. Both are just over two years old. And I guess this would be a new thing for them. I don’t want to force them to use this doggy door. Instead I want to know from people how I can encourage them to use this doggy door. Can someone help me with some ways to train the dogs to use doggy doors? I would really appreciate your replies pertaining to my query. Thanks.

Hey. This is a common problem of each and every pet owner to get the pet acquainted with the pet door. And the solution is not a complex one. All you need to do with your doggie friends is, first of all don’t force them to pass the dog door which is installed immediately and please have some patience, this tends to make the doggies feel irritated and slow to learn the stuff which you wants them to learn. Make him understand the art of passing the door, get a stuff toy and make the stuff toy pass the door which will make it easier for the doggies to imitate the same.

This will act as a positive reinforcement. The dog will then slowly and steadily understand that passing the door is a good thing which shall make it earn lots of love and treats. And then possibly the doggies won’t create any problems in wearing the collar. Good luck.
