Can dogs eat grapes?

My 5 year old coonhound suddenly wants to eat grapes. Can dogs eat grapes and if so, how many can she have in a day. She has never touched grapes or for that matter she does not like citrus fruits. As far as I can remember I do not think any dog likes citrus fruits. She ate one because it fell to the ground. Should I carry on giving it her? Could it be because she is pregnant? I am shocked to find out something new about her after 5 years. She does not like oranges, so what could be the reason for the grapes.

The coonhound should not be given grapes to eat. Grapes consist of certain toxics which are not healthy for the digestive system of our doggie pal. I would recommend you to give your four legged friends treat which has a similar taste of grapes, like some grapes treat but should never ever give a grape(s). It will cast corrosive impact on your four legged friend.

I have a Chihuahua and the doggie ate a bunch of grapes, we fed him the insidious bunch of grapes out of our sheer love, but then suddenly the Chihuahua was struck by a panic attack and became hyper active. We had to rush him to the pet and she said that the Chihuahua had inordinate amount of toxic levels in his body due to which he has resorted to such wild and over boisterous behavior. So, I will not recommend your coonhound to take the grapes due to its high toxic levels for dogs. I hope you have been properly warned by me in this regard.
