Ban on Dog tail Docking: Breeders and working-dog owners not wagging their tails
Government must not pay any heed to the unreasonable rage of dog breeders and working dog owners and immediately implement full ban on docking the tails of dogs. Even vets are in favor of the ban. The tails are chopped off in the name of convenience and future damage, but it's not true. They are chopped off for the breeders' own convenience and the poor pup has to face the unbearable pain unnecessarily.
Mostly sports dogs and police dogs including the breeds such as cocker and springer spaniels, terriers and German short-haired and wire-haired pointers face the torture. The tails are docked even while the puppy has not opened his eyes completely and around 1 lakh puppies goes through the procedure. How can anyone play havoc with pets in the name of amusement?
