Bird Flu terrorizes Pet parrots

Posted By: Vikas Shekhawat | Feb 22 2006

Katie is baffled by the bird flu stories coming from every corner of the globe and so are we. The UK's National Parrot Sanctuary used to get only a couple of birds in a month but the flu fever has forced owners to deliver 23 birds this weekend. This is the scenario when bird flu has not struck this part of Europe. So, now we can clearly imagine the degree of impact will be on our feathered friends when it'll actually strike. People must understand that the flu attack birds living in filthy surroundings with lots of other birds.
