Rising above all commercial strategies, Thomas Cook Airlines has announced that it will allow blind and partially-sighted passengers to take guide dogs on board their flights. The airline is to test the scheme on routes to Greece, Portugal, Spain and the Canaries. As per the scheme, blind passengers will be given bulkhead seats, and will have to purchase a seat for their guide dog. To avail of this humane facility a month's notice of a guide dog needs to be given the the airlines.

The news is relieving for a soft hearted man like me. It will lead to more specially-abled travelers to join the travelers gang.
