Classroom pets: A new breed of teachers

Yes, pets are on the driver's seat in the classrooms. They are helping students to read fluently. Kids who find it difficult to read are made to read in front of these therapy dogs that do not laugh on their mistakes and listen patiently with love and enthusiasm chiefly because of their nonjudgmental character.

This way the kids are able to get out of any shyness, which they might have imbibed, and are able to boost their confidence in the initial learning stages.

You can even try this at your home by making your kids speak daily in front of your pet, whether he is a dog or a cat or any other creature. The results will definitely be positive, enhancing your kids reading skills, speech, and confidence.

Hats off to the new breed of teachers!
