Dieting dogs goes after low-calorie pet food

Why can't pet owners understand one simple thing that their pets depend on them for everything - food, shelter, grooming and of course love? First they dump everything in their cozy stomachs in the name of affection - cakes, turkey, sweets and everything they get their hands on and than they look for 'low-calorie' pet food. It sucks, isn't it?

Since New Year, the sale of low-calorie cat and dog food has increased by 150%. Owners have admitted that their pets have gained extra weight during the festive season. Actually owners do all this knowingly. Don't tell me that you're not aware of the repercussions of obesity - heart complaints, diabetes, arthritis and much more. The case of obese owners is a different one, when they can't care of their own selves, how can they groom their pets' life. Pets definitely enjoy all these junkies, but they have a negative effect on their health. Better stick to a healthy diet and lots of physical exercises, along with your pet. And it'll be better if you prepare everything at home.
