Dino programmed to act like a pet
If I consider replacing my furry Poodle with the above dinosaur, well I would give it a second thought. The above dinosaur's name is Pleo and I would pay with it indeed...no surprises please. It is a robot in the garb of a real Dino, with a stretchy skin, flexible movements and a seamless, smooth body.

The Dino is programmed to act in a spontaneous manner, where nothing is mechanical. Enough of reality, actually this pseudo-Dino stands on 38 sensors and the highly intricate programme is designed by Ugobe in Emeryville, California. The 38 sensors generate all the actions in the dinosaur, and provide information to each of the eight processors that carry out the 60 million calculations per second. I dare call it my pet, until it does any work for me, but yes if it is a robot it has an added advantage, of contributing more than a pet.
