Flu may even target your pet

If your pet is showing symptoms of lethargy and coughing, get him checked by his vet immediately. It can be flu. Flu is not just confined to birds, your dog or cat may also get infected. Few greyhounds in Montgomery County have already been diagnosed for carrying the deadly flu.

Most if the times the young and elderly dogs are the main target and roughly 3 percent to 5 percent result in death. Just be on your toes and avoid letting your pet near other dogs that appear ill.
