Have parrots as pets!
Although parrots are famous for their vibrant colors and mimicking abilities; they can be great pets too. Getting a pet is easy. Be it a dog, a cat or a parrot. But the tag demanding attention applies to them also. They make great pets. And now that was surprising for me they can live up to 80 years. So, make sure not you but your next generations also provide for them.
They are awesome pets. Believe me. But if not taken care properly they can be awful too. They can leave you in a solid mess. They have their own personalities and get ready to spend on them. They need care, a lot more than dogs and cats. You can strike some similarities between them and a new-born. They're entertaining and intellectual too.
But you need to make frequent trips to the vet. You have to get their nails and wings trimmed regularly. Provide them with lot of toys. They love being occupied. You have to keep them busy. The saying 'an empty mind is a devils workshop' goes well in their case. They are so much like humans. They even have mood swings. But please get a smaller bird before getting a bigger one. And it is highly recommended to build an understanding with the animal first.
