Irresponsible pet owners in a fix

Pet overpopulation is creating havoc in Southern Nevada. One can easily find pets roaming in the streets and shelters over packed. And this is the situation when nearly 20,000 pets are euthanized every year here. In order to bring the condition under control, a new law has been formulated, under which pet owners will have to sterilize their pets.
With 20,000 pets getting euthanized every year the law must have been introduced much earlier. Still, it is better late than never and the situation can be reshaped positively by bringing down the population with immediate efforts.
