Fed up of the dog and cat race? It's time to adopt a rat.

62 of 175 pet rats rescued from a Broadmoor home are available for adoption. The Peninsula Humane Society and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is helping to find new homes for some of the rodents. The domestic rats are ideal pets for families with kids.
Rats are gentle, adaptable and our excellent companions. Adopt and give them a new life.
