Mundelein spared the pain of registering pets

Pet owners of the Village of Mundelein can have a sigh of relief. They are now not required to register their pets with the authorities. Though, to administer the pet world in a better way, dogs and cats still have to be vaccinated and registered with the county. The pet database with the county will be utilized to seek information and identify an animal.

The unnecessary burden on the taxpayer will be released now. As per earlier rules, it was hectic both for the authorities and the pet owners. This year around 1,000 animals registered costing $3 to each owner. There wasn't any point in tagging the pets, as they were supposed to be vaccinated and registered with the county as well.
