Pet drug abuse: Our best friends are on a high!
The survey carried out in Britain by insurer Petpal reveals that most of the vets have treated pets with drug abuse at some point or the other. Whether the drugs were given deliberately to the animals or they accidentally consumed it, is not clear. Most of the pets treated showed signs of drug side-effects such as vomiting, dizziness and temporary loss of movement.

Pet owners who are drug addict sometimes force their pets to consume a little bit of their grass or powder to have some fun. Even sometimes unlocked drugs lying in the house can be consumed by the pets.
The issue is a bit complicated, as it will not be easy to find out pets that are already addicted or have been made addicted to drugs. Educating pet owners and conducting more surveys of these kinds can reveal the truth and control the situation. Not only this, the pet owners of the addicted pets must be tracked and nabbed with the help of the vets and strict action must be taken against them.
