The 'Responsible Pet Owners Ordinance' approved

It was horrifying to know the number of euthanized animals each year, around 30,000, in Southern Nevada. But the Responsible Pet Owners Ordinance approved by the Clark County Commission will hopefully be able to bring the number down. The ordinance aims at pet owners whose pets aren't sterilized, run wild or have complaints filed against them.

Actually, this harsh step was needed to encourage and also force pet owners to sterilize their animals and ultimately cutting down on the number of animals euthanized each year.
