'World's Ugliest Dog' bids world goodbye!
Sam, crowned as the "World's Ugliest Dog", bid the world goodbye last month. The dog earned the reputation of being the ugliest dog due to his hairless body and crooked teeth. The pooch died Friday, 18th November, just short of his 15th birthday.
"I don't think there'll ever be another Sam," Susie Lockheed, the owner said, adding: "Some people would think that's a good thing."
Sam was judged the ugliest dog in the contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair this summer for the third year in a row. The pedigreed Chinese crested was a famous TV personality too, appearing in many talk shows and newspapers across the world. Sam was so dear to her owner that she even didn't mind her break up with her boyfriend due to him. The terrifying looks of the dog never repulsed the owner.
The 'designer pet' seekers must have a look at the devotion. It's not the looks, it's not the breed and event it's not the animal type, it's love of life in all it's form.
