Exotic Pets

Hello guys! My pal is keen on buying an exotic pet and wants me to select one for him as I've some interest in pets but I'm not so well informed about this variety of pets. I only know turtle as an exotic pet but he is not interested in turtles so please suggest me some other Exotic pets. The pets can be of any breed except the ones living in water like snakes and turtles. Also don't give any suggestions of reptiles, as my friend is phobic to repltiles. If there are any varieties of cats, rabbits or rodents as exotic pets, please let me know there names along with their basic details. Thanks!
