Is frontline for cats dangerous for other animals?

I have never heard about frontline being dangerous for cats, but then I have never owned a cat, only dogs. I am giving out my foster dog to a lady who owns a cat so I really must know. I know for a fact that she uses frontline plus for her cats and my dog gets heatgard. I do not want either to get affected. Also tell me which is better for heatgard or frontline for cats?

I would recommend you to not use frontline plus which is meant for cats. If you would use it on some other animal, then it might evoke undesirable effects on the guinea pig. Tell the foster pet master to purchase frontline plus meant for cats if the cat has been infested by fleas and ticks.

Though, the frontline plus spray can be used on both cats and dogs alike. But still before using the spray or the ointment, tell the foster pet master to consult the vet as we should never ever try to place the life of the four legged friend at wager. I hope the information helps you.
