Are gourmet dog treats safe to have?

I have fed my pet bullmastiff with the gourmet dog treats which had a very positive impact over my pet doggie. My pet doggie had a habit of eating and munching in between the regular course of diets which is been imparted to Shane (name of my pet bullmastiff).
