Healthy people and healthy pets are almost synonyms. If you are not a healthy pet-owner then how can you expect your little friend to have a congenial lifestyle?
Our pets imitate us in every possible sense. We don’t know it because the process is actually subconscious for both the pets and the owner. And this is true when it comes to health too. Let me give you an example - my friend's chihuahua. He never paid any heed toward his or his pet’s lifestyle. He used to eat junk food all the time and he unknowingly passed on this habit to his little friend. That junk food has made his chihuahua’s entire body system totally junk. The same friend with chihuahua is lethargic too. And consequently his pet has also gained a considerable amount of laziness. My friend never goes for walks so the pet also enjoys being a couch potato like his master. It is evident, if you are not healthy pet owner then how you can expect your dog to be healthy. It doesn't make any sense at all.
It is based on the concept of 'practice what you preach.' If you aren’t healthy and more importantly not taking any initiatives to be healthy then how can you expect your four legged pal to be in fine health conditions.
So, I would say that unhealthy lifestyle breeds unhealthy conditions and it would be best to be healthy and make your pets healthy too. Wish you good luck with your assignment.
