1. Chihuahua
The Chihuahua is the smallest of all dog breeds and can be great pets, too. They are master dogs and are awfully devoted to him or her. This breed is great for lazy owners because it needs minimum space. In fact, it is so tiny; it can even snuggle in your hand bag. The Chihuahua also requires minimal exercise and sprucing up. Do not go for this breed if you have small children in the house. They are ferociously loyal to one individual and can be easily resentful and upset. Do not ever let them get too fat as it will give way to grave health issues. So, always take them for that random walk in the garden.
2. Rat terrier
This lazy breed of dog is also identified as the American hairless terrier. A Rat terrier requires very little space, almost the size of a shoe box. This dog is around 25 pounds and maybe a foot tall. They are an extremely sociable breed and usually jolly. They are also very perceptive of any variation in the atmosphere or even disposition of the master. This dog is incredibly intelligent, so training will not be too much of a task.
3. Pug

4. Bull mastiff
The Bull mastiff is a wonderful big doggie not only because of its size but also because of its modest upkeep. This breed is in fact a cross between the English Mastiff and the Old English Bulldog. They are quite low in terms of the vigor factor. They are fairly peaceful, unfussy dogs, so pretty good for apartments. There is some amount of training required so that there is no tugging while walking. It has a short, silky fur that barely sheds. It is quite a lazy dog, but because of its huge size, obesity can become a serious issue. So, frequent strolls are a must.
5. Bolognese

The Chin has a good looking coat which does not require quite a lot of maintenance. You just have to brush it a couple of times a week, and it is all shiny and silky. Not much exercise needed because of its short muzzle, there might be breathing problems if there is too much of strain.
7. Greyhound
Believe it or not, Greyhounds may look like graceful pooches but are in fact quite lazy in temperament. They had much rather take a snooze than run after rubber balls. These dogs are peaceful and tender and do wonders with kids and other pets. They have minimalistic grooming requirements, only a nice stroll can make them happy. These poor dogs are often dumped in shelters and rescues after their racing career is finished. So, you can give them a new life when you take them.
