Serval cats are extremely cute and beautiful looking and can be a great pet if you are considering one for yourself. They are very playful, watchful and intelligent and are great jumpers. You might find them knocking things are hanging from the ceiling fan which could be difficult to control. They also live for a long time and do not warm up to new owners that easily.

Serval cats are also very expensive with rates as high as $ 10,000. They are also high maintenance and hard to keep. Make sure that you are very sure about the expenses involved and also the extra care and attention that you need to give it before you think of acquiring a serval cat.
