Can someone advise me on Older native American Indian dog?

I own a 7 years old Native American Indian dog and I want to get another now. I just miss having a puppy around the house so was wondering if you could give me some advice. The native American Indian, I have, has far been a gem of a dog. We have no troubles with him whatsoever. We would not be expecting the obvious if something were to happen. I have never seen this dog pick a fight, make strangers feel awkward. He has been loved by everyone around. He has the kindest of souls. How would one imagine him behaving with a pup around the house? He has been friendly with his age of dogs around the neighborhood. He has not met a puppy recently.

These American Indian dogs happen to be a working nurturing all around types, it is medium sized and a lightly built breed with a natural looking muzzle, and also longish pricked ears. Their bushy tail appears to be carried down with a slight curve. The head is in proportion to their body. The muzzle is wedge-shaped and moderately long enough to provide balance to their longish pricked ears. The eyes seem to have an intelligence, which looks into you,and not past you. The ears are moderately wide and long set. They tilt over slightly forward on the head, and are also firmly pricked and a little large. These are Triangular in shape and well furred all over their body. They happen to be a very thinking breed, these dogs are very instinctual and territorially conscious for their area. This eventually creates an intense bonding. They are never that vicious, but always alert and tend to be cautious with the strangers. These dogs are excellent home and family watchdogs. They are capable of adjusting to any environment. Working versatility is one of these dogs breed’s exceptional qualities. Thank you.
