Papillon Dog

I've recently came across a name of breed of dogs called a Papillon dog. I am a true dog lover and have known many breeds of dogs but this name I've heard for the first time. If anyone out there is aware of this breed of dogs then please tell me about all it's details. Description of this dog, it's housing conditions, it's temperament, diet routine, exercise routine, would be helpful. Anything else other than the details I've mentioned would be appreciated.
