Is puppy love harmful for my puppies?

Is my puppy love harmful for my puppies? I love my puppies like anything. This is the first time that I have brought home a pair of Cuddly puppies. They are only three months old and am raising these Golden Retriever puppies with so much love and pamper. Is this bad as told by one of the vets I met at a dinner? If you have any experience owning them, please tell me how should I behave around with them?

Excess of anything is injurious my friend. So, I would say you love your pets, and give them adequate and required care but never over do. The point your love cross the thin line and gets transformed to pampering then you will have it. Since you have mentioned you have golden retrievers, which means they are not predisposed to small dog syndromes but still if you will pamper them eternally, then they shall be rendered as the pack leaders and will do whatever they want, and will not assume you as their pet owners.

Love them, care for them but do not pamper them. Do not forget to scold them when they display unwanted behavior. I hope the information which has been provided in this section makes sense and fall in the ambit of logic.
