Is using Revolution for cats a mistake?

I brought home revolution for cats and since the time my cat is using it, it has been showing some symptoms of irritation and looks like it wants to itch all the time. Is using revolution for cats a mistake? It does prevent the fleas and the parasites but can it have any side effects too? I am so worried about my cat. What should I do, can there be any other reason for its discomfort?

I think you did not really go through the instructions mentioned behind the packing of the product, which has to be followed in order to make the revolution do its job in the best possible manner. Let me tell you what the instructions are like, you should administer revolution for cats as per the directions given by your vet.

You should never apply the medication (revolution) on your kitty when her coat is wet. Do not message the revolution into the skin and if your kitty happens to have a cut/wound on the skin, then first apply medication for the cut/wound and then do not apply the revolution on the affected area. Keep in mind these simple tips and experience a vast change in the behavior of your kitty as far as the application of revolution is concerned. I hope the information helps you in a predefined fashion.
