Is it wise to use Furminator for dogs on cats?

I have a female Maine coon cat that I think is suffering from fur balls although I do give her fur ball treatment and dried food that contains something to help eliminate them. In the past week she has been coughing quite severely and I am not sure if this is fur balls or something more sinister. Unfortunately she does not like being groomed so am now considering having her groomed under anesthetic as some of her coat is becoming extremely matted now she is out all the time as opposed to being kept inside as she was whilst younger in rented accommodation. Can I use Furminator for dogs on cat during fur ball treatment? Is it wise to use Furminator for dogs on cats? Would that be okay to use in such condition? Is it really effective? Can anyone give me Furminator reviews? I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Yes, you can use the furminator on your kitty and doggie even if they are under the fur ball treatment. I would say that the de-shedding tool (furminator) is one of the best tools which have been produced till date.

The furminator works on the upper coat of the kitty and doggie and removes the dead hair from the coat, which is present in the top most layer of the coat. The best thing would be that the furminator must be used on both the kitty and doggie pal in a proper fashion after consulting the vet as to what would be the procedure to use the de-shedding tool on the kitty if it is undergoing the fur ball treatment. And make sure that you better get yourself a vacuum cleaner as you will be using the furminator as it really takes out the dead hairs in bulk.
