I do not think Zoo Zoo pets were ever recalled at any point of time. You are mixing Zhu Zhu pets with the Zoo Zoo pets. The legalities issues were present with the Zhu Zhu pets was huge but now everything has been resolved. The Zhu Zhu Pets produce stuff toys specifically designed for your pets. In the end of the year 2009 a consumer oriented website by the name GoodGuide initially claimed, the Zhu Zhu Pet, Mr. Squiggles have inordinate toxic and antimony levels.
A pandemonium was called forth, as the report came out in public domain and several buyers of the Zhu Zhu pets showed their disinterest in purchasing the products manufactured by them.
